Treatment is to apply a liberal whole of baby oil to the affected area about 20 minutes before the baby's bath. This will allow the crust to become soft and easy to remove. while the bath, apply a minute baby shampoo to the head and using a soft hair brush or face cloth, gently brush or rub the crust off. Do this once a day until the crust has been fully removed. Sometimes it may recur after a few days so continue to wash baby's hair in the same way. Once the baby's sebaceous (oil) glands rule down the condition will disappear.
N.B. The oil application must be shampooed out to preclude an oily buildup which may make the condition worse. Do not try and take off the crusts and scales with the tip of a fingernail.
Heat rash consists of tiny blisters filled with sweat. In most cases it will rule down by the time the child reaches school age but for some it may continue to be a life long problem. The frequency and severity of flare ups can be dramatically reduced with truthful daily washing using a hypoallergenic soap and applying moisturisers, topical steroids when needed. Avoid trigger factors such as inordinate sweating, woollen clothing, soaps and bubble bath. Sometimes it may be important to give baby antihistamine if the itch is very intense and is making the baby very irritable.
Sometimes the eczema can become infected by bacteria and this causes full, redness, swelling and weeping of the affected area. Urticaria or hives are red or pink raised areas on the skin that are very itchy and warm to the touch. On May 22, 2007, five schoolgirls at Sacred Heart Girls College in suburban Melbourne, Australia, were taken to the hospital after receiving an injection of Gardasil, the latest vaccine to be mandated for cervical cancer. Since the approval of the vaccine in June, 2006, there have been at least 1,600 adverse events reported. Here are a few examples directly from the Vaers reporting pages:
“Immediately after injection inpatient complained of severe pain at site. Fell off table and fainted for roughly 10 - 15 seconds. Hyperventilating. Complained of headache, blurry vision; vision test was normal. Vomiting x 1 in parking lot and speech was momentarily inarticulate. Sent to Er where her neurological exam was general except for word recall "coffee instead of coughing" and said "Sired instead of tired."
“A female inpatient was vaccinated with a first dose of Hpv Vaccine. Subsequently as the inpatient was leaving the test room, the inpatient fainted. The inpatient recovered shortly after fainting.”
“A 14 year old female was vaccinated with Gardasil. It was reported that the inpatient was sitting on a bench. When the nurse left the room, the inpatient apparently fainted and ended up falling off bench. It was reported that it was unsure if the inpatient had broken her nose but there was blood. At the time of this report, the outcome of the events were unknown.”
Vaers is a passive surveillance law and depends upon voluntary reporting by clinicians and parents of serious health problems following vaccination. Although Vaers reports do not prove causation, they can furnish a warning law that a vaccine may be causing health problems.

It is at this point that you will begin to supplement your puppies diet. I start off with a mush made from a high potential puppy food which has been softened with a prepared puppy milk replacer. Slowly you will decrease the amount of milk replacer until the puppies are eating their kibble dry. You must all the time have fresh drinking water available.
Once the puppies are eating on their own on a regular basis the dam will come to be less vigilant about cleaning up after the puppies and it will now fall to you to see that the puppy area is maintained in a hygienic manner.
